Model H - Multiple acting tool used with set-down packers

Compression Unloader Model H Model H Compression Unloader is a multiple acting tool used with set down type packers for equalizing tubing and annulus pressures. Pressure is contained by three extra large o-ring type seals which withstand repeated cycles of equalizing.

The unloader is manufactured in both jay slot or straight slot actuated versions. Both versions provide means of transmitting torque through the unloader to ready the companion packer for setting. The straight slot unloader is closed by straightly setting down and opened by straightly picking up. The jay slot unloader is closed by picking up, rotating one quarter turn to the right, then setting down. After setting down, the tubing can be rotated back one quarter turn to the left, if desired, to lock the unloader closed. To open the unloader, use the reverse order mentioned above.
